Customer background
A US electronics brand needed IP68-rated sealing for outdoor smart controllers operating in rain, dust and temperature cycling.
Challenge
Off-the-shelf seals failed the 1.5 m / 30 min immersion test, and cable entry points leaked at the grommet interface.
Solution
We co-engineered groove geometry with their mechanical team, molded custom silicone seals tested to IP68 by a third-party lab, and redesigned snap-in grommets — cutting assembly cost by 30%.
