Customer background
A European tier-1 automotive supplier needed sealing and damping parts for a new e-drive housing, with tight tolerance and IATF-documented consistency.
Challenge
The application mixed high temperature (up to 150°C), oil mist and vibration; the customer struggled with inconsistent hardness from their previous supplier and slow tooling iterations.
Solution
We developed custom compounds (FKM for seals, 60A NR for mounts), built tools in-house within 48 hours per iteration, and delivered PPAP-style dimensional and material reports. Anti-vibration mounts and steering boots run in serial production since 2025.
