Rubber & Silicone Bellows

Molded bellows compensating axial, lateral and angular pipe movement - 1M+ cycle fatigue life.

Overview

Rubber bellows are molded convoluted elements that compensate axial extension/compression (plus/minus 20%-50% of nominal length), lateral deflection and angular movement in piping systems. Integral molding with no seams eliminates the stress-corrosion risk of welded metal bellows, while low elastic reaction force places minimal stress on pipe supports. Tested to over 1 million cycles of repeated extension/compression without rupture.

Key Features

  • Large displacement compensation in axial, lateral and angular directions
  • Low elastic reaction force even under high pressure
  • Over 1 million fatigue cycles without rupture or leakage
  • Seamless integral molding - no stress-corrosion risk
  • Transparent silicone grades allow visual inspection of media flow

Applications

  • Water and HVAC piping: thermal expansion compensation
  • Pumps and compressors: vibration isolation joints
  • Chemical and food process lines
  • Automotive: steering and exhaust applications
  • Dust collection and ventilation ducting
